Help Donate Masks To Hospitals, First Responders, And Others
disruptED is an AR/VR education publishing company, and our mission is to help children learn in the most effective way through immersive methods.
AR/VR technology is a fantastic way to bring learning to life for kids. Our whimsical characters are ready to comfort kids and families worldwide on this COVID-19 journey.
This summer, we are releasing a new AR/VR book, BEE Safe, to help children learn about staying safe in these tough times. Educators will be able to assign the book along with social/emotional materials that educators and parents can use outside the digital experience. The book and materials will be offered free of charge.
Along with that, we are creating a line of adult and children's face masks to go with this campaign. Ed Heck, disruptED’s renowned illustrator and international Pop artist, wants you to wear his art on your face!
Based in Brooklyn, N.Y., Heck has partnered with Long Lat Inc. to donate face masks featuring his imaginative artwork to more than 30 hospitals across New York, New Jersey, and Boston.
You can pre-order masks by clicking here, and with every mask that is purchased, an additional mask will be donated to first responders and healthcare workers!
Please share the news with your friends and family!
We are running a promotion to give away 10 free masks autographed by Heck. Fill out the form to the right by June 15, 2020, for your chance to win!
In response to the pleas from N.Y. Governor Andrew Cuomo regarding the urgent need for face masks, Heck reached out to Parkson Liang, CEO of Longlat Inc., a company that produces luggage and travel goods. Liang, a NYC resident, geared up his team for production to create a new line of face masks.
The first production run of the masks will feature 40 different pop art images. The masks are reusable and washable, and they feature adjustable elastic loops in both adult and children’s sizes. In addition to an antibacterial coating, the masks can be worn separate or with an additional surgical mask inserted for added protection. Each mask comes with its own washable carry pouch with carabiner.
Heck hopes the bright, colorful, and fun designs will encourage adults and children to wear masks to protect themselves and their families.
