See You At SXSW 2018!
We had lots of traction in 2017, including making wonderful connections with the EdTech leaders in Austin, but one big dream we’ve been dreaming since we set foot in this town was to be involved in the SXSWedu 2018 conference in an official capacity. We didn’t know exactly how we would participate, but we definitely wanted to make it happen.
Well –– here we are to share that we have in fact been invited to participate in SXSWedu 2018. Woohoo! disruptED was chosen as one of ten finalists for the SXSWedu 2018 Launch Pitch Competition. So, what does that mean? The Launch competition celebrates emerging innovations in learning with a fast-paced pitch competition featuring early-stage startups. We are proud to have been selected as a finalist despite a very competitive application process, with over one hundred other applicants. We are also very proud to be representing the founding city of SXSW and our beloved home base, Austin, TX as the only company representing both Austin and the state of Texas. Yeehaw!
The event will be taking place on Wednesday, March 7th at 4pm, with a happy hour and winner’s announcement taking place shortly after at 6pm. For now, we’re off to practice our pitch! Hope to see you in March at SXSWedu!
